The average winter temperature on the continent ranges from -36 °C in northern Canada to + 20 °C in southern Florida and Mexico. There are 23 states and 20 dependent territories in North America.
The main directions of tourism are sports, beach, sightseeing, and business. The pride of North America is such natural phenomena as the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River, Niagara Falls, and the Great Lakes. North America has several Islands, including Greenland – the largest island on the planet. Central America and the Caribbean can be considered as independent regions of North America.
