Not every cat lover can come to the cat island. But there is the place closer. The cafe has opened in Seattle. Here, people bring you a cat coffee, cat cupcake, and allow you to play with fluffy animals.
Cat cafes appeared in Asia and quickly became popular around the world. But in Seattle, it became a special place. The city is famous for its coffee. The menu includes a classic latte, cappuccino, espresso, and many other beverages. Locals collect coffee traditions from various countries, cities, and small villages. You can make a trip around the world without leaving the cozy place.
Only one thing could make this place better. These are cats. The first Cat Coffee of Seattle was opened in December 2015. And it got popular immediately. It is rather hard to get there. There are some rules. You need to make a reservation. Only 10 visitors are allowed to drink coffee and play with cats at the same time. These restrictions are made for the good of animals. If there were more guests, animals would get nervous. No one wants to get scratched.
Entering the café, you see cat pastries and coffee drinks such as cappuccino and meowcha.
Buying the coffee, you can come to the cat's living room and spend some time with cats. As a rule, fluffy "waiters" are dozing, playing in the wooden “thickets” with podiums and suspension bridges.
About 10-15 cats meet you in the café. They all come here from the King County Regional Animal Welfare Service hoping to find a home.
