This is the only center in the world dedicated to professional rodeo as a sport, telling about outstanding cowboys, legendary competitions, and cowboy associations. This is a unique place that keeps the history of how it all began, developed, and what it eventually came to.

Rodeo is a traditional sport in North America. The first open competition was held in Texas in 1883. Since then, this sport has become widespread and popular. The rodeo includes several types of competitions: wild bull racing, bareback racing, horseback riding, catching a bull with a lasso, bull fueling, and barrel racing. All competitions can be held both for individual types and as part of one large competition.

The museum was opened in 1979. Right in front of the entrance to the Hall of Fame, there is a statue of a rider Casey Tibbs, the most famous cowboy in the history of the USA. Tibbs is a kind of symbol of the American Rodeo. He became the world champion in this sport nine times.

On the first floor of the museum, there is a theater where various festivals and memorable dates are celebrated. They broadcast a movie about the history of rodeo on ordinary days. On the second floor, exhibition collections are located. There is an original sculpture depicting three cowboys and a huge collection of special ammunition. The most striking of all the exhibits are saddles used by cowboys at different times: there are saddles in which athletes won important American competitions, and some are real works of art.

Another collection of the museum is very touching. This is a large number of photos from competitions throughout America. The images clearly show how much effort the cowboy puts into riding a bull or horse. You can see every muscle that is strained to the limit.

This museum is worth a visit for anyone interested in the history of the North American rodeos.
