Where can you go to warm your bones? To cold Greenland, of course!

The nature of Greenland is incomparable. It combines icebergs, mountains, plains, ice fields, and hot springs. It is so nice to plunge into warm, even hot water after many hours and kilometers of hiking or sightseeing!

Small oases are scattered throughout Greenland. They say that the best is on a desert Uunartoq Island. It is located near the town of Qaqortoq in the southern part of the country. A few hours of travel and you are there! Steam from the springs rises above the ground and beckons to you.

The cleanest, warmest, and most relaxing springs are located in southern Greenland, on an uninhabited island between Alluitsup Paa and Nanortalik.

The most difficult task there is to force yourself to undress! Take off your warm jacket, pants, wool socks, and put on a swimsuit! Besides, you change clothes not in a closed room with a warm floor but a small wooden shed. It's amazing how it still stands there!

After completing the most difficult part of the journey, you slowly step into the pool. The heat of hot water absorbs from the first seconds! It's so comfortable and cozy! Thirty-eight-degree water relaxes, relieves fatigue, heals, and fills with new forces.

Uunartoq Island has three swimming pools. They are separated from each other by artificial dams. Their temperature does not change all year round. You will relax, drink seagulls and watch the drifting icebergs at an ideal temperature of 38 degrees, regardless of the season. Also, the water in the hot pools is crystal clear. Just look down and you will see the bottom!

The pools are surrounded by mountains. They offer an incredible view of the bay! It's just an indescribable feeling! There you can rest with your soul and body!
