"You're a wizard, Harry!
Who in childhood, or even in adulthood, did not dream of finding on the floor next to the door a letter made of parchment paper and stamped with a seal, on which Professor Dumbledore's smooth handwriting would be written: "You are accepted to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry!"?
If you are in London, consider that the owl has not made a mistake. Hurry up, you still need to choose a wand and catch the train!
In 2012, Warner Brothers decided to open a museum in the halls of Leavesden Studios, where the shooting of the movies took place. There you can feel the spirit of magic because all the decorations are real!
First, you can look into Diagon Alley and see if Ollivander has moved out, scared of You-Know-Who. Then hurry to a grand dinner in the Great hall, where the hat will distribute the freshmen to the houses. You can also visit Hagrid in his round hut on the border of the Forbidden Forest.
And then run to Dumbledore's office, have a heart-to-heart talk with the former headmasters of the school in the portraits, and refresh your memories in the Pensieve.
Among the familiar and such favorite interiors, there is the potions room, the Ministry of Magic, the office of Dolores Umbridge, the Potter house, the house of Nora Weasley with dummies of Ginny and the twins, ten houses on Privet Drive and, of course, the closet under the stairs, where Harry Potter lived for 11 years. The actors of the saga left their autographs and comments there.
The exhibition continues on the street. Remember how Neville blew up the bridge in the last part? Well, there it is, safe and sound! In the museum, you can come face to face with a mermaid and Aragog, stroke the wax feathers of a Buckbeak, and shake hands with the brave and free elf Dobby.
The highlight of the museum is a 16-meter Hogwarts! The layout was made for the first movie. Later visual effects were added!
The Harry Potter Museum is a real paradise for fans of the saga. Each exhibit is so detailed that you will not want to return to the world of muggles.
There is one rule: you cannot be late for the tour! But you can come earlier!
It's not difficult to get to the museum. Take the train at Birmingham New Street station and go to the Watford Junction stop. Stan Shunpike will pick you up there and take you to the entrance of the museum on a stylized bus.
When the doors of the museum will close behind you, do not forget to say: "Mischief Managed!".
