We do not attach importance to the wonders of science in everyday life. "Wow, what an idea!»- we don't say that often enough. But when you will see the Glasgow Science Centre, you will open your mouth in surprise and go through the whole tour like this. This is the place where real miracles happen!
The buildings of the center attract attention with their unusual appearance. The center has even won an award for attracting tourists. This miracle of engineering appeared after the reconstruction of the nearest embankment. The buildings, made of glass and metal in the Art Deco style, look like metal ellipsoids. The laboratory resembles a chic glass sail with a metallic sheen. Between the two ellipsoids, there is a tower that was supposed to be the tallest in Europe. At the moment, its height is 60 meters, but the work is still ongoing. Moreover, the tower rotates around its axis. The observation deck is accessible at an additional cost.
There is enough entertainment for both children and adults: build a roller coaster, control objects with the power of the mind, not only looks but also touch the future. Don't forget to visit the science show theater! After that, you will want to buy a set "Young physicist" or "Young chemist" for home! You will witness several scientific experiments that will be accompanied by whistles, blows, claps, and flashes.
Various scientific objects are hung all over the building: a variety of chrome structures, aircraft, and much more. Because of the transparent ceiling and blue and metallic colors they seem even more unreal. It will take a long time to see the entire science center. There are more than 400 interactive exhibits. You may get hungry while visiting the museum. For young, and not only, scientists there is a very interesting cafe in the center. Food from space or masterpieces of molecular cuisine will not feed you, of course, but you can have a snack, and maybe watch some scientific issue.
