To visit the city where the headquarters of "Jaguar" and "Land Rover" are located, and not to visit the Transport Museum is a real crime!
This is a very exciting place, and not only for motorists. Where else in the world can you see a collection of 249 cars and trucks, 120 motorcycles, and 405 bicycles?
The first part of the museum is dedicated to old models. There are real rarities: unicycles, "Triumph of 1934", old models of the legendary "Jaguar", cars that were used during the wartime. Some of the exhibits can easily be called actors and actresses because they were featured in many films.
Special attention is paid to the interior. This is not just a large hangar where different models of transport are assembled. Each epoch has its own stylized zone. The attention to detail is paid by the owners at the highest level: posters from the time when the car was popular, walls of houses, bar counters, and a "Jaguar" parked next to it. It creates such an effect of complete immersion that you want to exclaim: "Beware of the car!".
In addition to transport, the museum also presents interesting details. Such as a turn signal...in the form of a mechanical hand! It was installed at the side window and changed the direction of rotation with the help of a lever at the steering wheel. On special showcases, there are also helmets, glasses worn by drivers at the time, and horns. Unfortunately, you can't touch them.
The exhibition is updated with each hall. Visitors are gradually approaching the twenty-first century. There you can see not only the car's body and interior but also look at cars in a cross-section.
Man has always wanted to be faster, lighter, more powerful. A special part of the exhibition is dedicated to racing and sports cars. At first glance, they do not look like cars, rather like missiles or military mini-planes. It seems that they are about to take off!!!
