The famous Norwegian cliff «Preikestolen» which is located opposite another popular attraction «Kjerag» is considered to be one of the most beautiful places not only in Scandinavia but also around the world. Its top rising at an altitude of more than 600 meters above the Lysefjord has a regular square shape as if it was artificially created. It offers fabulous views of the scenic Norwegian fjords. Besides, the most popular hiking trails in Norway are located there. Every year hundreds of thousands of tourists conquer the Preikestolen cliff that is more than ten thousand years old. Its name means «pulpit». However, to preach from this amazing place you will have to overcome a difficult path of 4 kilometers long. By don`t worry, the entire road up the cliff passes through such a picturesque area that time will fly by unnoticed, but impressions will last for many years. Stony paths and stairs change the scenery of a wonderful mountain lake and steep sharp rocks – green glades and flower valleys. Enjoying the pristine beauty of this route it is difficult to imagine that there could be something more beautiful. And only on top of the cliff, you can see the perfection of Northern nature in all its splendor. The main thing is not to forget warm waterproof clothes and something to eat because you will definitely want to meet a wonderful sunrise and spend a fabulous sunset. Besides, despite the ancient legend that the cliff of Preikestolen will fall only when seven sisters from one village marry seven brothers of another, do not neglect security measures and go close to the cliff. There are no fences on Preikestolen. However, it has a noticeable crack in the center. Every year the split of the rock increases. That means it is time to hurry to visit one of the most popular tourist attractions to enjoy the fantastic scenery and clean mountain air in the most mysterious place in Norway.
