The Viking village is known far beyond the borders of Iceland. This is a stylized complex with a hotel and restaurants, where entertainment events are constantly held in the spirit of ancient Iceland with its colorful warriors.

The house where the Valhalla restaurant is located was built in 1841 and is the second oldest building in Habnafjordur. The ground floor can accommodate up to 36 people. On the upper floor, under the sloping roof, you can enjoy a cocktail before dinner or after dessert. There is also a small cozy room for 12 guests, which is ideal for small groups seeking privacy. This elegant restaurant, whose walls are images of ancient Hafnarfjörður in the performance of Lucas Gucio Gordon.

There is a restaurant that can easily accommodate up to 350 guests. The emphasis there is on the warlike Icelandic era. When you enter the restaurant, you enter the world of the past. The menu features traditional dishes served on stylized dishes. It is never boring during the partyies there: all guests are waiting for various treats and surprises offered by singing Valkyries and Vikings. The peak of the fun comes when the headman Fioru crowns one guest as an honorary Viking.

The menu can be changed on request, but the restaurant strongly recommends a three-course dinner, which includes a set of appetizers, delicious mountain lamb and Skyr. Skyr is an Icelandic dairy product of a creamy consistency, made with the addition of rennet and fruit. You can also try Mead - a real traditional Viking drink. An experience that is worth it!

The hotel in the village consists of 42 luxury rooms with shower, toilet and TV. The rooms on the first floor are decorated in the style mentioned before, and on the second - are completed in Scandinavian style. When you enter the hotel, you are greeted by works of art and craft from Iceland, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands. There is wireless Internet access and free parking near the hotel. You will also be able to quickly restore power to refresh and relax after a long day in the geothermal hot tub.
