I would like to tell you about the natural wonders of Rhodes, more precisely, the magic seven springs. That is one of the sights on the island. Seven natural springs, which remind the massive velvet curtains, stream down like a waterfall and nourish the river, which flows to the narrow tunnel having a height of a man.

You can get to the island of silence, nature, and calmness by several means: with a guide or by a regular bus: comfortable seats, air conditioning, and a cheap ticket. By the way, there is a belief that people need to come there totally relaxed because this place has a legend, about which I tell you a bit later. 

The sight is supplied with signs for drivers and pedestrians. It is recommended to walk on the territory of the Seven Springs to admire nature and to notice one of the “features” of the island – the beautiful peacocks.

The springs are surrounded by a forest of pines and palm trees. They add the coolness, that is why the walk will not be exhausting. The air there is cleaner than in the city, so it is good to breathe deeply.

It is prohibited to swim in the spring because the water is pure and suitable for drinking. The organizers ask to keep the rules and not to dip the feet there, because someone will drink the water after. There is also one more peculiarity – all the seven springs are numbered. But I need to notify you in advance that the water does not have any healing and anti-aging powers. This is just the beautiful picture for your eyes, and you can spend there some time in the silence and quietness of the “waterfall” sound. 

But there is one legend that adds some mystical charm to the place. It is said that a man, going through the narrow tunnel, where the icy water of springs flows, can be purified from the 7 deadly sins. So, there you can also clean your karma. It is your choice to believe in it or not…
