It is said that Pope John Paul II was impressed by the view from the Holy Hill near Olomouc. Most likely, Empress Maria Theresa, who visited this pilgrimage site, also did not remain indifferent.

Soon this hill became a witness to the prayers who were led by the power of faith. The prominence of the marked hill grew rapidly: the Basilica was named "Queen of Moravia".

Today, the Holy Hill is both a pilgrimage point and the goal of fans of the Baroque beauty. Besides, this place is popular for wedding ceremonies: many couples prefer to say their important "Yes" there.
