In the heart of the Austrian town of Stockerau, the Siegfried Marcus Automobile Museum was opened in a historic building with Art Nouveau elements in 1986. Its first and foremost goal was the desire of a group of car enthusiasts and devoted admirers of Siegfried Marсus to pay tribute to the brilliant Austrian mechanic and inventor. Later, this desire evolved into a more global goal – to tell and show the public and then pass on to future generations the fascinating fate stories of many retro cars from the time of their creation. Besides, nowadays the museum's founders and visitors still have a great opportunity to personally meet the owners of the exhibits and hear their stories first-hand, as well as to get acquainted with the original documents of these amazing vehicles.

The museum's incredible collection includes vintage classic and sports cars made in Germany, Austria, and England. There is also a small exhibition of Puch motorcycles within the museum. The entire collection is in excellent condition and is striking in its diversity. And maybe a visit to the museum will open up a whole new and fascinating world of vintage cars and make one more Siegfried Marcus fan.

The most famous of the inventor's cars, which was built in 1888, is stored here, although for a long time the year of manufacture was considered to be 1875. The organizers of the Collective Exhibition of Austrian Automobile Designers in 1898 presented it as the greatest achievement in the automotive industry. Also in the museum, you can see the star car named KITT from the popular television series Knight of the Road starring David Hasselhoff. Also, there is the Bock & Hollender car, which was taken apart at the beginning of World War II and then reassembled in the early 1970s. And many other cars that impress with their appearance and incredible stories.
