Did you know that when you arrive in this cozy Austrian town, you can visit all the world's main attractions, spending no more than a couple of hours? This is possible in this unique park that is for all fans of originality and creativity.
Minimundus is a world in miniature. It is located very close to Klagenfurt, in Carinthia. It is located on a vast territory of 26 thousand square kilometers and was founded in 1958! Since then, a huge number of tourists come there every year.
What is special about this place? It contains miniature copies of attractions from as many as 53 countries! But the most interesting thing is that to create such copies, the same materials were used as when creating the originals. In total, the museum presents 171 miniatures, the scale of each of them is reduced by 25 times.
What will you find there? Almost everything that every tourist wants to see: St. Basil's Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty, Abu Simbel Temple, Sydney Opera House, the Tower of Pisa, The Parthenon and much, much more! And all this in one place! Just imagine how many amazing photos you can bring from there!
Even the youngest visitors will appreciate the open-air museum, because there, in addition to miniatures, runs a pretty little train, just like a real one, and very realistic toy boats float on the rivers.
Interactive models are even more interesting to watch! Every year the museum's collection is updated with new exhibits because its owners are very talented architects who love what they do and want to please visitors. Interestingly, they cannot be accused of greed, because all the money that the park earns from ticket sales goes to charity funds that help children fight various diseases. So if you are dreaming of a photo with the Leaning Tower of Pisa or have always wanted to appreciate the Taj Mahal, you should definitely come there!
