The new cab of the funicular departs every 15 minutes from the lower station, located near the Congress center of Innsbruck. The first station of the road, "Hungerburg", is located at an altitude of 300 meters from the foot of the mountain. The observation deck offers a magnificent panorama of Innsbruck. By the way, this station is almost never covered by clouds, so there is a possibility to take wonderful pictures there.
The second station, "Seegrube", is located at an altitude of 1,900 meters. You can even see Italy from there! Also, you can relax in a cozy cafe, preparing to conquer new heights.
The third and highest station of the Hafelekar cable car lies over the Intal Valley from a height of 2,334 meters. It is very cool there even in the hottest summer. So it is worth taking this into account when going on the road.
