Mysteriously blue and so spicy… Everyone has heard about Curacao liquor. Just a few know that it was invented on the island of the same name in the Caribbean.

The land and climate of Curacao were not so hospitable to overseas fruit. An orange mutated and turned to a terribly bitter from a sweet one. It was considered inedible. All the gardens were closed. But once, somebody paid attention to the zest of an orange. Dried in the sun, it has an incredible aroma and emits a natural oil. A few years later the Senior family began producing the drink based on their secret technology. First, liquor was selling in a pharmacy of the Senior family. The “descendants” of the Spanish orange, “Golden Curacao Oranges” were in a drink’s base.
