You take a step, and on the right, a wave with hundreds of splashes gets to you and a road ahead. On the left, the wave is crashing against the rocks. And the nine-meter bridge leading nowhere is all wet. Despite the shining hot sun, the Devil's Bridge on the island of Antigua never dries. It is located on the east coast of the island in the National City park. It appeared not so long ago, only in the 1950s.

Big waves crash against the coastal cliffs with incredible force. Scattering splashes and a calm clear ocean create a miraculous atmosphere. This place frightens and inspires at the same time. The assertiveness of nature and its strength amaze. Even in the hardest stone, it can make a deepening.

For hundreds of thousands of years, waves of the Atlantic Ocean were splashing the east coast of the island of Antigua and carving out a limestone natural arch. It was called the Devil's Bridge. The waves here never abate, as if the cliff project is not yet complete.

According to local beliefs, the Devil lives here. That is why the Atlantic is swirling and splashing so much. You can try your luck and cross the bridge, but the locals do not recommend it. They believe that the devil can take you with him.

Even if you forget the mystical legends, it is still dangerous. Limestone becomes very slippery because of constant contact with water, like a rink. A falling person cannot come out.

Although earlier, ancient tribes came to fish in this place at their peril. But today, it is better not to do that. Approaching the edge of the cliff, you start to believe in the Devil. There is such a noise because of waves.

Go a little further to avoid splashes. You can see the entire cliff. Here you never get tired of the marvelous power of nature. Beautiful nature.
