It seems that a fairly large Cohunu Koala Park is hidden in a thicket of trees and shrubs near the city of Perth.

Why does Cohunu Koala Park attract visitors and residents of Perth? After all, Koala parks are not uncommon in Australia. But this Park is attractive because there, unlike most reserves, you can hold and feed these wonderful funny cubs. This pleasure is very rare. That's why tourists from all over the world are rushing there to touch the wildlife, observe how koalas live in natural conditions, and try to become a part of their daily life.

Cohunu Koala Park was founded recently, in 1982. And at that time, there were only four koalas that were brought from the South of Australia. However, thanks to the employees' love for animals and good living conditions, eucalyptus bears began to actively increase their population. Now 25 koalas live in the park. And every year their number increases by an average of four individuals.

In the beautiful Cohunu Koala Park, you can slowly walk along the paths laid between the thickets of strange trees and shrubs, admire the flocks of colorful parrots, of which there are more than 30 species, see a kangaroo, an emu, and a wild dog dingo.

Surprisingly, the animals are so used to people in Cohunu Koala Park that they are not afraid of them at all. For example, kangaroos often approach a person and seem to ask to be patted.

In addition to the entertainment component, the park has a scientific center, whose specialists are engaged in studying and increasing the population of koalas. And all proceeds from tourists visiting the park go to the National koala research program fund.
