The Da Nang Fine Arts Museum is a young and actively developing cultural space, thanks to which your vacation will be more varied. This is the third fine arts museum in Vietnam and the only fine arts museum in the central part of the country. It was opened just several years ago, and within a short period of time, it conquered the hearts of local young people and bohemians and turned into a popular meeting place and a fashionable exhibition area. Nevertheless, it has just started to get more and more popular among tourists who avoided it in the past.
The Da Nang Fine Arts Museum is smaller than similar establishments in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. Despite that, it is also actively and successfully engaged in preserving the artistic values of Vietnam. Today, its collection has more than 1000 various works of art, ranging from traditional paintings and sculptures to modern photos and installations. For the convenience of visitors, descriptions of all the exhibits are represented both in Vietnamese and English. Thanks to a small number of tourists, visiting the museum is extremely convenient and pleasant.
The exposition was placed in the city center, not far from the Da Nang Museum and the Cathedral. It was placed in a three-story building, occupying an area of 1185 square meters with spacious and light halls, where you can have a good time and learn something new about the cultural and historical heritage of Da Nang and central Vietnam.
On the first floor of the museum, you are welcomed by friendly workers of the museum who are glad to tell you about the future exhibitions and answer any questions. Artworks, gifted to the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum by local artists, are also there. Apart from that, temporary expositions, which change every month, and regular master-classes for children are organized on the first floor.
The second floor is occupied by contemporary artworks made in various techniques. This is the favorite place of the youth of Da Nang, who most often come there for inspiration.
On the third floor, there are samples of traditional national art: costumes with ethnic embroideries, masks, amulets, etc.
