The heritage, artistic and cultural life of an area can attract tourists and create better quality of life for those who live there.
An Italian student smashed a Greek sculpture at Milan’s Academy of Fine Arts of Brera after he hopped on its lap in order to capture that perfect selfie.
Every year on December 23, the Mexican state of Oaxaca presents the most impressive display of carved vegetables in the world.
The town of Kemer has long won travelers' love and acquired the status of the seaside resort of the Turkish Riviera. The Taurus Mountains protect the town against the cold winds, relict pinewood fills the air with a fresh scent, and there is so much entertainment here that an average vacation is not enough. The ruins of the Ancient Greek and Roman cities are good for history lovers, dozens of dance clubs with popular Turkish DJs are for nightlife fans, and some of the best-equipped beaches in Turkey are for amateurs of a beach-related rest.
The greater part of the seashore in Kemer is occupied by the central city beach. The beach was marked "Blue Flag" for its excellent quality even though it is pebble. Here you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas or sunbathe right on a beach towel as the locals do. The beach typically has a gentle slope, but it gets steeper close to the shoreline. Apparently, the beach is not the best one for families with young children.
If you are looking for a quiet rest away from the city bustle, then you should go to the Tekirova beach, just a few kilometers away from the center of Kemer. The beach is sandy and also has the "Blue Flag" mark for its cleanness. The water is crystal clear, that even at a depth of 10 meters, you see the bottom.
And a true pearl among the beaches in Kemer is the Moonlight beach, which is separated from the central beach by a picturesque marina. The Moonlight beach is entirely sandy. It is divided into the paid and free parts. The paid site includes sunbeds with soft snow-white mattresses and wide umbrellas and you can order the drinks at the nearby bar or ask for them right from the sunbed. The free part offers you fine sand only and turquoise seawater, which makes the Moonlight beach so attractive.
