Traveling to hot tropical countries starts with the choice of not only a destination but also of the goal you pursue in this adventure. Some prefer a quiet, relaxed holiday on a beach. Others like more active leisure time. And some people would be happy to see historical and cultural monuments, hear ancient legends, and feel the local atmosphere. However, more often there are people who would like everything at once. Then the travelers are faced with a difficult choice unless they are going to visit the fabulous kingdom of Thailand and one of its main attractions.

A fantastic journey to Doi Inthanon National Park will surpass even the boldest expectations of demanding travelers. Here everyone can find something to suit their taste, whether it is calm forest walks and amazing time spent at the base of the delightful waterfalls, or the adrenaline-filled ascent to the highest mountain peak in the country, or acquaintance with the traditions of the local people and visiting the famous twin pagodas. Whatever the soul of a foreign guest wants, friendly and hospitable Thai people will fulfill all their wishes with pleasure.

The huge Doi Inthanon National Park with an area of more than 480 sq. km. was founded in the neighborhood of Chiang Mai in 1972. The vast territory of the park is home to several beautiful and majestic waterfalls, as well as the highest mountain in Thailand with a height of 2560 meters. On its top, there is the tomb and shrine of the last ruler of Chiang Mai, King Intavichayanon. By the way, the park was named exactly in his honor. Next to them, you can notice two traditional royal pagodas. They were built during the reign of King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX) to celebrate his birthday. And all this, not to mention the stunning picturesque forests, is filled with fascinating voices of exotic birds. Doi Inthanon Park is the second nature reserve in the country in terms of the number of these amazing creatures.
