Opened at the end of the 20th century, Lotte World is still considered to be the best entertainment park in South Korea. It occupied an imposing area in the Sonphagu District and is divided into two large zones –Lotte World Adventure and Magic Island.
It is always an excellent idea to go to Lotte World Adventure, regardless of the season and weather. It is the world's largest indoor amusement park, recorded in the Guinness World Records book. So nothing can stop you from having fun here to the fullest. The attractions of the huge pavilion are divided into separate areas associated with different countries of the world. International themes are also noticeable in carnival parades, held for visitors all year round.
Magic Island is an outdoor part of the park, located near the lake. Here you can try extreme and water attractions and also relax with a view of the lake and the city.
In Lotte World, there are about fifty different attractions for all tastes and ages. But two of them deserve particular attention. Be sure to ride the monorail and take a hot air balloon ride. Both attractions will not only cheer you up but also allow admiring the park and surrounding landscapes from a bird's eye view.
When it comes to taking a breath after exciting entertainment, take a look at the Lotte World Folk Museum. You would definitely appreciate the area with miniatures – one of the most interesting and original exhibits, telling about the life peculiarities of Korean villages in different eras.
