The birthplace of one of the most popular team games in the world, baseball, is considered to be the countries of the American continent. However, you can watch that dynamic game not only in the USA or in the countries of South America, but also in most of the countries of Asia. Not many people know that baseball is one of the most popular games in China, Japan and South Korea. In almost all the big cities of those countries, there are very good baseball fields. Among them is the famous Changwon NC Park stadium which is located in one of the most ancient cities of South Korea – Changwon.
The construction of the new stadium, which occupies an area of 12 423 square meters, began in June 2016. In March 2019, there was organized the first game between the local team NC Dinos and Samsung Lions. The stadium is the youngest one in the Korean Baseball Organization and is the domestic stadium of one of the most famous baseball teams of South Korea – NC Dinos. Before the stadium was built, there had already been a baseball stadium – the Masan Baseball Stadium. Then it was substituted by the famous Changwon NC Park, which could accommodate more than 22 thousand fans (it is two times bigger than the previous stadium).
Another specific feature of the new field is that it runs on ecologically clean energy of solar panels which are settled on its roof. Moreover, this is the first baseball stadium which offers the perfect panoramic view of the field and has a picturesque park, where all the guests can not only witness the legendary games but also spend a good time in nature, organize a picnic or just go for a walk across its shady alleys.
