The largest spaceport in the world and the birthplace of space research, the place from which the famous space dogs Belka and Strelka went on a flight on the first artificial satellite, and the legendary cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin orbited the Earth on the world-famous spaceship «Vostok». For many years, the piloted spacecraft launch here to the open space of the mysterious Solar System. Every year, more than 20 launch vehicles are sent to space, and today every guest of the famous Baikonur Cosmodrome has a unique opportunity to watch this breathtaking spectacle.

The Baikonur Cosmodrome with an area of almost 7,000 sq. m. is the main attraction of Kazakhstan, the first tourist destination in any direction. There is no doubt that the visit to this amazing place will always be the most unforgettable trip.

In addition to the impressive launch of rockets, happy visitors can explore the existing launch pads, assembly buildings, refueling stations and monitoring and control centers, see the Buran and Soyuz Spacecrafts, as well as learn all the stages of preparation, from the moment of decision-making to the launch itself, and, of course, attend an international press conference with the brave crew members of the ship.

The territory of the Baikonur Cosmodrome also houses a stunning museum. Its extensive collection includes more than 15 thousand exhibits. There are even real rocket engines, presented in a separate open-air exhibition, and the memorial houses of Yuri Gagarin and Sergei Korolev. Here you can not only learn about the amazing history of the Baikonur Cosmodrome and find out its plans but also see authentic onboard clothing of astronauts with their autographs, old and modern space devices, as well as all samples of the daily nutritious diet of astronauts.

It used to be a secret and protected state facility. Today it is open to all fans and admirers of the mysterious space as well as to fearless people who daily perform such responsible work as launching a spacecraft with a brave team on board.
