It is surprising that Tokyo Disneyland is located not in Tokyo, but not far from the city of Chiba which can be called the suburb of the capital.
This world of Walter Disney is one of the biggest entertainment centers in the world. It was opened in 1983. It was the first Disneyland opened beyond the U.S.
Right after the opening, Disneyland became a favorite place of recreation not only among children but also among adults. Contrary to other countries where there are likewise entertainment centers, in Japanese Disneyland, you can meet many old people who buy passes for multiple visits and have fun not less than young visitors.
Tokyo Disneyland is divided into 7 thematic zones. The Fantasyland zone is considered the most suitable part for children. There you can meet all the characters of your childhood favourite cartoons: Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Peter Pan and Pinocchio. These are the characters with which most of the attractions are connected.
For those who like more extreme entertainment, there are incredible roller coasters in an abandoned mine, on high slopes. You can also go to space by one of the most «dangerous» attractions. If you want bigger thrills, then there is a cave with ghosts – it is the place where even the most avid fans of horror films will be scared.
If you want to have a slow walk and relax after an adrenaline shot, you may go to the City of Cartoon Characters. There you will have an opportunity to take a look at the house of Mickey Mouse, take a ride on Donald Duck's boat or sit in the treehouse of Chip and Dale.
Just like all other Disneylands, its Tokyo version also regularly hosts incredibly colorful parades with the cartoon characters of Walter Disney.
The park is extremely crowded during these days. So we recommend you to book your tickets in advance not to miss that colorful show.
