Probably, it is not so bad that people do not have wings. If they had, they would hardly have conquered so many peaks, invented an airplane, a parachute and a paraglider, the amazing flying machine. Unlike the parachute, the paraglider is made not for vertical descent, but for horizontal flight, which makes it work like bird wings.
Soon, the invention of the paraglider led to the appearance of paragliding as a kind of sport. All around the world, there started competitions, where extreme pilots emulated in the best speed, altitude, time and flight range. Each country offered hills and mountains, numerous centers began opening up everywhere.
Mountain peaks and picturesque sceneries of Indonesian islands have long become the center of attraction for all fans of extreme tourism and thrill-seekers. Mount Tumpa, the active volcano Lokon and the world-famous hill Tetempangan in the vicinity of Manado are especially popular among daring and adventurous paraglide pilots.
The paragliding center Skyline on the top of Tetempangan Hill differs from other centers in Indonesia. There are three air-fields at once, that allow flying in different directions, while most centers on the planet have only one. All fields are located at the ideal flight altitude with a suitable air temperature and breathtaking views. Courageous travelers, who go on a flight, see colorful plantations of carnations and coconut trees, and also stunning views of the sea bay and sandy beaches of Manado.
Less brave travelers climb Tetempangan Hill to enjoy magical sunrises and sunsets. Once in a month, crowds of tourists gather there waiting for the mysterious full moon. The moon in these places is peculiar.
