All parents know where to take their children in Europe or America to see their happy faces and become the best fathers and mothers. In just a couple of years, Paris Disneyland will celebrate its 30th anniversary, and the first park of the famous Walt Disney is older than some grandparents. Vacations spent in these parks are still the most popular dream of all children on the planet. But it differs when you go on a journey across the African continent. Even the safest safari is dangerous for young tourists. How to entertain curious travelers? How to make their vacation unforgettable?
In Algeria, this question was answered long ago when a fantastic amusement park was opened in Oran in 1983. Since then, it is visited by 1.5 million guests every year, not counting hundreds of thousands of children, visiting the park as part of charity events. Its administration regularly organizes actions in favor of children from dysfunctional and low-income families, as well as orphans from nearby settlements.
From the very start, the park had difficulties, because its financing depended on state funds, which were given only on condition of impressive visiting statistics. That is why general director Abderrahmane Belabbès decided to develop the park. Over the past couple of years, the favorite place of Oran residents and visitors got 12 new modern games, while the old entertainment equipment was modernized.
The safety of park visitors is also a matter of importance. All day long, police officers are patrolling its area, ensuring public and material things safety.
Today, the park in Oran is an incredibly clean and well-groomed green area, located in the heart of the city. There, you can see modern attractions, and the very first that appeared at the opening in 1983. The atmosphere of children's holiday and fun always reigns here. But adults can also find activities they like. A gorgeous view of Oran opens from the ferris wheel.
